| The division between black and white
is reflected in this card. One pillar has a B for Bava, the other
pillar, a J for Java. Black and white, but no situation is completely
black or white. This card encourages compromise, shown as gray
for the color of wisdom, knowledge and experience. She sits on
her throne and expresses balance, telepathy, the subconscious
and femininity. The High Priestess wears a cross and holds the
Tarot scrolls in her lap, again, trying to combine belief systems
and methods of spiritual growth.
Her watery robe speaks to the emotional quest that we all experience
at some point of our lives. This card can show up for a man or
a woman. Are they growing as a psychic? I would encourage them
to continue the quest both as a spiritual being and a psychic.
Could pregnancy be in the near future?
Reversed: There is a challenge to the intent
that this person has for their growth, be it in the Church or
a daily intent to be a better person. I always ask if there has
been a recent loose in the family. She will show up in reverse
for a person that has recently left the church, such as a priest
or nun or someone who is disillusioned by religion in general.
