VII of Wands

The number seven is that of contemplation, revelation, new perspective, a plateau; spiritual, sensual and feminine and secrets.

I remind you of all of these words, because this can be a complicated card. It covers not only Wands but can be a voice for the other three suits.

This card indicates that someone is in need of all the courage that they can muster to stay on top of a very difficult situation. They may even think of it as their own personal Hell. Success can be had, but not without a major clash with someone or an event of great magnitude, such as a major illness.
Notice the green, a healing color, which the querant stands on. There is hope for a healing in all areas of the querant’s life, but it will be difficult.

As they fight off the ones that would interfere with their plans, they are reevaluating their intent and plans. Perhaps they don’t want to work that hard for what they thought was so important to them to begin with. It could be that this is just a plateau that they have reached and are fighting to get past. They may want a Doctorate, but they have to have the Masters first. It could be that they have to repair a relationship before they can move on in their lives. Whatever it is all of the energy and self examination will be well worth the effort.

In reverse: Not even a courageous show of strength can gain peace of mind in this situation. Save your energy to fight another day. Pull back, regroup and try another method of “attack”.

Maybe you do not have all of the information that you need to be successful. Do remember that this is the card of secrets.
