Ace of Wands
Keep in mind that all Aces are offerings. This card offers career
opportunity. It can mean the beginning of material stability or
a new enterprise. In some cases and combinations it can mean inheritance.
If combined with the 10 of Pentacles that represents the business
of family and the family business, it can mean that the family
is ready to back that person in a business venture or there will
be an inheritance to work with. If combined with the Ace of Pentacles,
we know there are wonderful opportunities for money on their horizon.
The Ace of Wands can be the birth of wonderful new beginnings,
even if it is simply a new job or position in an existing situation.
Is our querant a budding inventor? Encourage them to use their
imagination when it comes to producing money.

In reverse: Those
expected offers are not forthcoming. There is an ending to present
earning ability. Are they worried about being fired or laid off
from a job? Look around to see if any of the deception cards like
the Devil shows up. Is the Seven of Swords there? It is called
the Sneak Theft card for no reason. Or, see if there is any sign
of ill health approaching that could cause the set back. It can
mean ill health for them or someone close to them.
Depending on where this card lands, it can show that the person
has been looking for work for sometime. Especially, if one of
the worry cards like the Five of Pentacles in an upright position
appears in the layout.
A career promise will not or cannot be kept.
This card has shown up for someone who was hired for a particular
position and suddenly the position no longer existed or they were
asked to go to another position in the company. The choice was
theirs to make about accepting the new opportunity or not.
